State to meet on Memorial Sloan Kettering plan for cancer center in Harrison
The state will meet Thursday to discuss a plan by a New York City cancer hospital to open a $143 million branch in Harrison -- a project that has already gotten a preliminary approval from the Department of Health. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center will present its project Thursday to the Public Health and Health Planning Council, a division of the state Department of Health responsible for approving or denying new medical services.
