Ray is responsible for leading our educational development initiatives, with a focus on new fundraising opportunities and tailored strategic communication solutions for our secondary and higher education clients.
He brings 30 years of senior-level experience dedicated to educational and non-profit brand development and communication strategies tailored specifically for fundraising, recruitment and overall audience engagement. Ray’s unmatched expertise has directly impacted over 125 institutions nationwide, including Albany Law School, American University, Columbia University, Fontbonne University, Howard University, Le Moyne College, Marshall University, Saint Anselm College, Saint Michael’s College, Siena College, and University of Pennsylvania, among many others. He also has held leadership roles in engagements with the Archdiocese of Atlanta, The Catholic Foundation of Ohio, the Diocese of Kalamazoo, the Diocese of Portland (ME), The Hartford Bishops’ Foundation, The Knights of Columbus, and The Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Prior to joining Changing Our World, Ray served as Vice President for Client Services at Stamats Communications, a national higher education marketing firm, where he focused on senior business-development and consulting. Before Stamats, he served as Vice President at Zone 5, where he led the agency’s higher education sector. Additionally, Ray spent over 20 years as Executive Vice President at Creative Communication Associates, where he focused on strategic agency operations, business development, and senior project management.
Ray holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from St. John Fisher College. He resides in the Albany, New York area with his wife Lisa; daughter, Olivia; son, Christopher; and their German shepherd, Jack.
